Prevent Suicide
Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the US, claiming approximately of 136 lives per day, totaling 49,476 lives per year (AFSP, 2022). Additionally, in 2022, an estimated 1.6 Million people attempted suicide; yet, this is not a complete count of attempts as many go unreported or untreated (AFSP, 2022). Statistics are alarming. Suicide MUST be stopped.
